Ivey Koin is in charge of Corporate Communications at the Authority. She was appointed to the position in August 2023. She previously served in the Registration Accreditation and Documentation department and the Planning, Research, Outreach, and Policy department at the Authority. She holds a Master’s degree in Digital Journalism from The Aga Khan University and a Bachelor’s in Communication and Journalism from Moi University. Ivey is registered and accredited by the Media Council of Kenya (MCK) and is a member of the Public Relations Society of Kenya (PRSK). Before joining KNQA, Ivey was a Social Media editor and web content curator at the Nation Media Group (Daily Nation). She also formerly served at the National Cohesion and Integration Commission (NCIC).
Ivey serves as the Vice Chair of various Committees including; the RPL Launch and Planning Communications Committee and the KNQA Staff Welfare Association
