The Kenya National Qualifications Authority (KNQA) participated in the just concluded Africa Skills Week Conference 2025, held at the African Union Headquarters in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. The Authority was represented by Mr. Vincent Koech, Deputy Director, National Qualifications Development (NQD).
The conference, attended by key education and training stakeholders from across the continent, served as a transitional platform to advance inclusive, high-level, and future-ready TVET systems in Africa.
The forum envisions a prosperous and skilled continent, aligning qualifications priorities with Agenda 2063 and the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). It aims to strengthen policy coordination, promote inclusion and innovation, and foster industry partnerships, while advancing digital, green, and entrepreneurial skills to prepare Africa’s youth for the evolving world of work.
