On the morning of 10th December 2024, the KNQA CEO, Dr. Alice Kande, represented the Authority in a consultative meeting with the office of the Deputy President. The meeting focused on the National Labour Mobility Strategy and the implementation of the Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) framework in Kenya.
This initiative is part of the government’s strategy to create jobs by increasing access to decent opportunities both locally and abroad.
Key interventions include aligning skills with local and international labour market demands, eviewing relevant curricula, offering tailor-made short courses, and providing certification based on the Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) Policy.
