Chepkurui Recho is the Senior Human Resource Officer at the Kenya National Qualifications Authority (KNQA), where she leads the human resource function and drives organizational development initiatives. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management from Kenyatta University and is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Human Resource Management at Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology.
A Certified Human Resource Practitioner (CHRP) and a registered member in good standing with the Institute of Human Resource Management (IHRM), Ms. Recho is a licensed professional with demonstrated expertise in human resource management and organizational effectiveness. Her professional grounding enables her to align HR strategies with institutional goals while fostering a high-performance culture.
In her role at KNQA, she oversees key human resource functions including talent acquisition, performance management, employee relations, training and development, and policy implementation. She is committed to building a motivated and competent workforce capable of delivering on the Authority’s mandate.
Ms. Recho brings a strong focus on professionalism, compliance, and continuous improvement in HR practices. Her leadership supports the development of effective organizational structures and systems that enhance employee engagement, productivity, and overall institutional performance.
