The Chairperson of the Kenya National Qualifications Authority (KNQA) Council, Hon. Stanley Kiptis, addresses delegates at the ongoing Young Africa Works–TVET Program Close-Out Forum, currently taking place at PrideInn Paradise, Mombasa.
During the official opening ceremony—graced by Chief Guest Dr. Esther Muoria, Principal Secretary, State Department for TVET—Hon. Kiptis reaffirmed the Authority’s commitment to building on the progress achieved under the support of Colleges and Institutes Canada (CICan).
He commended the Mastercard Foundation, CICan, and all implementing partners for their instrumental role in promoting inclusive and responsive skills recognition systems. He further highlighted that the KNQA–CICan partnership has established a strong and sustainable foundation for an equitable national qualifications framework—one that will continue to positively impact lives beyond the conclusion of the program.
