The Kenya National Qualifications Authority (KNQA) Director General/CEO – Dr Alice Kande, accompanied by Director Policy & Registration – Dr. Winnie Bulimo, hosted a delegation from the ICM – Institute of Commercial Management (ICM) to explore strategic areas of collaboration.
Discussions focused on registration of ICM qualifications into the National Qualifications Database, strengthening quality, visibility and recognition of qualifications and opportunities for joint research.
The meeting further explored strategic participation areas by ICM at the inaugural conference on Qualifications https://conference.knqa.go.ke/conference/knqa-irc-2026 scheduled for 12th to 14 May 2026 in Nairobi. The conference will bring together policymakers, educators, industry leaders, and researchers to advance quality, recognition, and mobility of qualifications.
Present from ICM was Mr. Osundwa Kevin Kanisio, Regional Director for Africa, Ms. Amy Matthews – Head of Compliance & Quality Standards and Ms. Bernice Okuku.
