Strengthening partnerships for quality and relevance in education remains a key priority for the Kenya National Qualifications Authority (KNQA).
The Authority was pleased to host Prof. Stephen O. Odebero, Principal and CEO of Masinde Muliro University of Science & Technology (MMUST) Institute of TVET, alongside his assistant, as they formally commence the on-boarding process of the institution into the National Qualifications Database (NQD).
During the meeting with the Director-General/CEO, Dr Alice Kande, discussions focused on areas of mutual interest, including advancing collaborative research and creating opportunities for students to gain practical, on-the-job experience.
This engagement marks an important step in ensuring that qualifications offered by the institution are aligned to the Kenya National Qualifications Framework (KNQF), while also strengthening linkages between training and industry.
KNQA remains committed to working with institutions to enhance the global competitiveness of Kenya’s qualifications.
