KNQA CEO Dr. Alice Kande joined the Cabinet Secretary for Education, Hon. Julius Migos Ogamba, in a meeting with the Senate Standing Committee on Education at Bunge Towers, Parliament Building. The Senate Committee was briefed on various issues, including the functions and mandates of National Government Agencies and County Governments in accreditation, credit transfers, training, and examinations.
Other topics discussed included the integration of the National Qualifications Database with the Kenya Labour Market Information System, as well as the status of development and implementation of key policies such as dual training, Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL), and the Credit Accumulation and Transfer System.
